Check Out the New CRR Ride
At the end of 2019 a Community Risk Reduction (CRR) vehicle was purchased with the remaining budget and generous donations made by many community families and businesses. In late January, Division Chief Jason Tharp and Maintenance Supervisor Matt Weber met with Onsitedecals, LLC, a premier designer, manufacturer, and installer of emergency and commercial fleet graphics.
The Founder and CEO of On Site Decals, Steven Burke and wife Kelly said they were a 110% behind what Community Risk Reduction is doing in the Katy Area. Stating “even here in Stafford your CRR efforts are making waves from Katy. I hear nothing but good things from the many programs you offer to the community. Your mission matches ours here at On Site Decals by putting the community first. We pride ourselves by giving back to the community and first responders.”
Chief Tharp was happy to announce the partnership with Steven, Kelly, and the whole On Site Decals Company. Chief Tharp said, “It’s because of partnership like this that allows us to further our CRR efforts. It also allows us to invest in new and creative ideas and technology to keep our Katy Area community and beyond safe. I am blown away by the generosity of Steve and Kelly for donating their time to design materials and provide labor to wrap our Community Risk Reduction and Community Health Division vehicle at no cost to the department. The graphic on the wrap highlights and advertises many of our community events and classes to the public. It is awesome that my Community Team will now have a rolling billboard on the road and at events. I cannot thank everyone at On site Decals enough.”
