(Katy, Texas) Harris County Emergency Services District No. 48 (HCESD 48) is proud to announce the appointment of Deacon Tittel as the District’s new Fire Chief. Chief Tittel officially began his role on November 3, 2025, marking a new chapter for the organization and the communities it serves.
Chief Tittel brings more than 25 years of distinguished fire service experience, most recently serving as Fire Chief and Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Bellaire. During his tenure, he was widely recognized for his strong leadership, commitment to operational excellence, and dedication to both firefighter and community safety.
Known for his integrity, professionalism, and forward-thinking approach, Chief Tittel has built a reputation rooted in dedication and genuine care for the people he serves.
