Mike Fleming has spent the last 30+ years in law enforcement. He started his career with the Houston Police Department in 1984 and currently serves as Sergeant over Patrol Operations in the Spring Branch ISD Police Department. His past duties involved patrol, gang intervention, and investigations. Mike has served with a multi-jurisdictional SWAT team, holding positions of Team Leader and Tactical Commander. Public safety is a passion of Mike’s, who was greatly influenced by his father, who retired with 30 years of service in the Houston Fire Department.

Mike was born and raised in Houston and moved to the Katy area in 1990. He raised his family in the Williamsburg Settlement neighborhood. Mike’s oldest son is currently serving overseas in the United States Marine Corps and his youngest son attends Katy High School.

Mike is active in the Katy community, coaching both sons’ athletic teams and volunteer with his church.
