DESCRIPTION:Do you feel comfortable leaving your young teen home alone – even for short periods of time? \nAre you ready for your young teen to start watching his younger siblings but you aren’t sure if he’s ready? Do you have a Girl / Boy Scout that needs to earn their Babysitting Badge and/or First Aid Badge? \nSafe Sitters need to be ready\, willing\, and able to handle all the child requires. A Safe Sitter class will teach your child everything they need to know. During graduation we will demonstrate to you\, as their parent\, that they are ready to handle any situation that may come up when you aren’t home. Safe Sitter classes are far from boring. Students use CPR manikins\, play games\, and share their experiences in class. \nTo sign up your child for a Safe Sitter class\, please complete the Student Registration form and email it to babysitting@hcesd48.org with your preferred class date. \nClass spots are first come first serve; your registration form needs to be submitted to hold your child’s spot in class.
