Camp Spark Application Packet

Harris County ESD No. 48 FIRE-EMS (HCESD48) is excited to announce that Camp Spark will be taking place June 10th – 13th 2024. Camp Spark is open to female students that are between 14 and 18 years of age and is completely free of charge to participants thanks to the generous sponsors. Camp Spark will provide a unique insight into life as Firefighter and/or EMS professional to encourage young women to consider fire and EMS service as a career.

From Those We Serve

We started partnering with Harris County ESD 48 in 2019, having been connected through our common passion to see childhood drownings end. We continue to be blown away by the passion and drive ESD48 has to keep the community safe in all aspects of life. It has been a true pleasure and honor to partner with them in their drowning prevention efforts. They stand alone as the gold standard among the many emergency services departments we work with. We foresee a long and wonderful partnership between ESD48 and the Judah Brown Project!

My family is beyond grateful to have had the CRR team perform a Home Safety Survey on our home. They installed 8 new smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. We were given 2 fire extinguishers and informed of other safety measures to take, like having a fire exit plan. Thank you for your professionalism and courtesy!

When we were pregnant with baby #3 we wanted all of our car seats checked. We not only had a dedicated person to install them, he spent almost 30 minutes explaining how to install them and let my husband and I take turns doing it so we would know for the future. Great group of people protecting our city!
